On Sunday December 5th, Shock Sorrow released the second single from our debut EP The Heart Bleeds: Die For You.
This is a musical soundscape you’ve never heard Keith Caffrey in before! The song is a piano ballad we wrote in loving memory of Aoife, Keith’s soulmate. I kept the production fairly minimal on this because I really want you to focus on Keith’s voice: lyrics, melody, and delivery. Was I in tears recording his vocal? Perhaps. He pours his heart out onto this record in a really raw, honest, and admirable way. We captured a special moment recording this and what you hear is what you get: truthful and honest heartfelt emotion.
